After renting on the Gold Coast and making the official move for work, our clients were on the hunt for a home for themselves and their children. They were finding it extremely hard to locate the right property, with competition pushing them out of their price range. We looked at many homes before coming across this beautiful property in Carrara — a modern renovation on a large block, in exactly the Hamptons style they wanted.
Budget result
Slightly over budget by $5,000 to secure the home.
Outcome
Negotiations ran over a few days as we played hard with the agent. At one point we thought we'd missed out, but the agent came back with a counter offer that allowed us to secure the home.
